Abi and me at her sisters playschool playground

Abigail is kind of tense and she looks it. Her mom has been getting migraines with spells of dizziness and nausea for quite a while now. The spells have become more protracted and so the doctor prescribed some meds that Abi shouldn't imbibe and so we have to wean her at least temporarily from breast milk. Last night that meant a hell of a lot of crying with Rosie and me taking turns trying to keep her relaxed.

We also re-introduced the hammock as it seems to be the only way to get her to sleep at the moment. Anyway, she's taking it quite well and is still teetering on the verge of walking.

Gabi seems to be constantly frustrated about the absence of attention she's getting and so it was very good news when the principal of the local playschool (Oerini-jeep) announced today that we can start sending her to school starting after the Chuseok holiday (Korean thanksgiving -- more of an ancestor worship thing really) Next Tuesday is Gabi's first day of school.

I think I'm going to cry. I'm sure she'll learn Korean quickly, the worry is that she'll stop being interested in English . . .
