Abi and Gabi update

Abi has a fever 39 degrees and a touch of conjunctivitis so we took her to the doctor. I hope the fever is gone by Monday or we might have trouble at the border!

The doc gave us heaps of medicine for her. Antibiotics -- even though his said it is a viral infection. And some medicine for her fever. Also some eye drops! She's only 9 months. Normally I'd say forget the medicine but we don't want her to have a fever when she's in the airport.

Gabi is also a concern now as her weight is exactly the same as it was on May 8th, 2008 14.3 kg. Her height appears to be the same as well at 90 cm -- but has never been a very accurate measure as she doesn't stand still very often. It also should be noted that the scale we have been using for Gabi was intended for adults and so it isn't that accurate in any case.

Abigail is now 9.3 kg and it was 8.8 kg on May 8th . . . Not sure if that's good or not. It should finally be noted that it has been obscenely hot for the last 2 to 3 weeks that would make anybody drop a few hundred grams I reckon.
