Cleanliness Will send you to the afterlife early

Cleanliness is next to Godliness?

Well, put it this way . . . Do you want to be next to God sooner or later? Personally heaven sounds pretty boring so I'd rather stay here and enjoy myself a little longer.

This is what I think about when I see either Gabi or Abi pick up something that is 'dirty' and put it into their mouths:

"Here's another way germs may protect children from a society obsessed with cleanliness: fewer cases of childhood leukemia.

University of California, Berkeley researchers are reporting that children who attend daycare or play groups are about 30% less likely to develop leukemia.

The finding fits with the 'hygiene hypothesis,' which posits that children exposed to common infections early in life have stronger immune systems, as do children who have family pets and older siblings. And babies who experience fevers before their first birthday are less likely to develop allergies."
