Vagina Monologues -- Just Profanity in Edmonton Schools

Vagina Monologues deemed too racy for most students at Edmonton school: "Drama students at Harry Ainlay High School were prevented from presenting the play [based on the Vagina Monologues] to fellow students on Tuesday, after somebody complained about the production."
The administration did allow the students to put on the play after school hours but only students that had permission letters from parents could attend.

Well, of course, in my day we could likely get expelled for saying such words! But in our 'modern' culture I'm surprised that the public schools have to be so careful around the parents! Naturally, I wouldn't expect a Catholic school to accept such a play! But sex education is part of the curriculum, so I'm a bit confused!
